Glenlossie

The dark grains plant processes the pot ale of more than 20 distilleries. Glenlossie Distillery produces more than 2.000.000 litres of spirit per year. There are also a number of huge racking warehouses to store the whiskies of the Diageo‘s  Speyside distilleries. About 1.800.000 litres of pure alcohol were produced in 2010.

The neigbouring distillery is Mannochmore. There is also one of Diageo‘s dark grains plant (see also Dailuaine) drying more than 100.000 tonnes of draff (residue of the husk of the mash) and about 8.000.000 million litres of potale (refuse from the wash still) per year. The protein-rich dark grain pellets are sold as cattle feed. In large racked warehouses whisky of various distilleries matures.

A new bioplant was built in 2012 and 2013.

Glenlossie is bottled in the Flora and Fauna Series and by independent bottlers.
